McKenna Hassel
Actor / Singer / Performer

About Me!
McKenna, Kenna, or Ken is a passionate performer and full-time creative spirit! She feels most alive when she’s making something out of nothing. Whether she’s drawing with her oil pastels, stepping onto a stage, or whipping up meals in the kitchen (sometimes masterpieces and sometimes “learning experiences”), she’s driven by endless curiosity and a deep craving to create. She shares her creative kingdom with her furbaby, Winston, who so graciously supervises all creative activities and occasionally walks across them.

She's a native Clevelander and is currently pursuing her BFA in Musical Theatre at Kent State University with a minor in Dance. She was most recently seen onstage as Charlotte in Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella at Kent State University.

At her core, McKenna is fueled by connection. Her family and friends are her rock and grounding force. They remind her that although creativity is her spark, love is her foundation. As a performer, McKenna is drawn to stories that inform, challenge, and transform audiences. She’s especially inspired by work that carries meaningful messages, elevates unique perspectives, and sheds light on overlooked or untold experiences. The most gratifying part of her craft is helping bring those narratives to life - stories that spark conversation and deepen understanding.
